Free Car Seat Safety Check

Installing your child's car seat can be complicated. But learning to properly install and use your safety seat can help you prevent serious injury and disability to your child. That's why pediatric nurses at Maria Fareri Children's Hospital, a member of WMCHealth, in partnership with Empress EMS, encourage local parents and parents-to-be to join us at a FREE car seat safety check event.

Certified technicians will:

• Provide recommendations on car seats that are best for your vehicle and child  (infant to age 9)
• Ensure your existing car seat is safe and properly installed – make sure to bring yours
• Provide assistance with accessing a car seat if you face financial barriers
• Answer questions about making the transition between car seats, booster seats and regular seat belts.
